Blessing is
the feeling you get
when the day’s gifts
are more
than your gratitude can hold.
Blessing sings
in the sunlight
and dances in the rain
knowing
each is irreplaceable.
Blessing favors
no one
it is not stingy or reluctant
it seeks new ways
to express itself each day.
Blessing sleeps
on the pillows
of the just and the unjust
yet truly awakens only in those
who seek God with pure hearts.
Blessing reaches
the furthest limits
of human endeavor
and sets those who receive it
on holy ground.
Blessing surprises.
Blessing breaks open that which is closed.
Blessing speaks to our deepest need.
Blessing wraps us in God’s grace.
Blessing completes.

Blessings to you🙏🏽❤️
Thank you, Jan. Always good to hear from you.
I really appreciate how you didn’t “limit” the boundaries of blessing; too often we look upon ourselves as being blessed, while others not so much. We are all blessed, all of us in this world. Let us all take time to seek and acknowledge those blessings.
Thanks, honey! So many blessings flow through you (not just to me, but to others).
Perfect!
We are surrounded, drenched in blessings. All it takes is opening our eyes and hearts.
Thanks for the lovely reminder!
It is so true that we need to be attentive to the blessings all around us. Thanks, Eileen.
